If I could give 20 stars I would. Jamelia has been amazing. She supported me from 36 weeks until after birth. At first I was nervous since this is my first child but she made those worries go away. We first went over my birthing plan then after straight to business with workouts, diet and prepping my bag for delivery. Because of my high risk pregnancy I was scheduled an induction at 39 weeks but that didn’t stop the show and with the tips and tricks given to me I was well prepared. As my labor progressed Jamelia showed up and supported me every step of the way along with my mother. She coached me through contractions and advocated for me when need be. She was right there when baby came into the world and captured the most beautiful moments of my labor. She checked on me throughout my stay at the hospital and helped with breastfeeding and getting baby to latch. I wish I could keep her around forever. I don’t think I would have been able to get through my delivery without her. I am forever grateful and recommend her whole heartedly. If you need a doula Jamelia is your girl.

Two weeks before my due date I was referred to Maternal Birth Services. My doula was amazing , my all natural birth was a success. In little time we created a birth plan and had a meeting in person. She was very informative during the meeting and also makes you feel comfortable. During Labor, she showed up on time and helped me through my labor pains with breathing techniques, massages and exercises. She was calm and patient with me through it all, can’t thank her enough. Highly recommend Maternal Birth Services !

I was assigned Jamelia as my doula for my second pregnancy at 25 weeks which was my first time using doula services.I highly recommend You go with Jamelia we immediately clicked first conversation and from then even now after I had my baby despite how busy she is she always checks up on me.The moment she was assigned to me she not only gave me useful information about pregnancy and proper lactation support she’s been there for me like a supportive family member. When I went into labor early at 38 weeks she was nice enough to come meet me at the hospital earlier then she had to be there to support me in my labor and was even nice enough to stay longer to make sure I was comfortable and settled. Because Jamelia showed me so many different ways to make my labor easier even lent me her birthing ball (because I didn’t have one) my Daughter came out like butter Vaginally‼️ I had no tears no rips no pain which was over all a better experience the second time she gave me and my bf a unforgettable experience we will cherish for the rest of our lives.Lucky for me Jamelia was also assigned to be my Postpartum doula and she’s such a big help ‼️💯 she showed me a better way for my baby to latch on where I’m not uncomfortable or in pain.Im Recommended all my family and friends and even I ever decided to have another child Jamelia has to do my doula or I don’t want her/Them✅💯 (no disrespect)

My experience with Jamelia as our doula has been nothing short of a God ordained blessing. She was our support system throughout my entire pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey. She is very attentive, responsive, and diligent in following up and checking in with us. Her extensive knowledge about pregnancy, labor, and postpartum info has been extremely helpful and comforting in times of uncertainty and provided my husband and I with a lot of peace concerning many topics. She was available and accessible every step of the way, even if I called/texted her at all times of the night. And the cherry on top for me was her interceding in prayer for me and my baby before , during, and after the delivery. The amount of support and peace she gave us is priceless and worth every penny we spent. I honestly don't know what I would have done without all of her help and support. We will definitely be using her services for our next pregnancy.

The Services At Maternal Birth such as The Breastfeeding Services as well as The Birth Doula Services are so amazing I just delivered my beautiful baby boy April 15th 2024 using both services and I definitely highly recommend 10/10 will be using them again in the near future . The Breastfeeding Services At Maternal Birth were hands on and patient with me through the latching process while breastfeeding since then I’ve now become a pro a breastfeeding All thanks to Maternal Birth Thank You Again !

I had an amazing experience with Ms. Jamelia, she provided stunning support for me as a new teen mom. She also made sure I was aware of all the possibilities with giving birth and being a mother. If not for her mental, physical and emotional support leading up to and after labor and delivery I don't think I would've gotten through it. In other words I'm very thankful for her and I recommend her 100 percent.

Jameila was very helpful. She helped me achieved my dream of delivering unmedicated normal delivery of my 1st child. She went above and beyond. From late night or very early calls just to make sure I was doing just fine before and after giving birth to advocating for me at the hospital very well when one of the midwives was pushing to give me epidural. And most of all, a Christian who prayed while I was going through the whole process! (And perks of massaging me with her anointed oil while I was in labor) THANK YOU, Jameila! I had an amazing experience with Ms.Jamelia. She provided amazing support during my birthing experience. She made it her business to be there from the night before and didn’t leave until after I gave birth. She had the instruments to provide me with comfort during my contractions and just during my pain in general. She spoke to doctors on my behalf to see what options were the best route for me and consistently advocated for what I wanted and needed. She was very interactive and provided amazing resources during my labor and delivery. Plus the extra perks like taking photos for you & postpartum mental checkups. I genuinely enjoyed my experience with her and having her be apart of my support system. I hope to work with her again in the future & I truly thank God for sending her into my life. I truly consider her a friend. 10/10 would definitely recommend !!!

I had an amazing! experience with Jamelia, she was very patient, informative, understanding and very friendly. Making my experience for my first Birth wayy easier than I expected it to be ! I’m so glad I opted for a doula. My doula Jamelia was the best. She came prepared and had all the supplies I could possibly need to support me during birth. I highly recommend looking into getting her as a doula if you’re pregnant!
